After Osborn reveals that he knows Peter is Spider-Man, he informs him that he will keep his secret safe. This still haunts Peter, even when he returns home. Nico offers to take Peter to the movies, but he tells her that he is having dinner with Osborn. At an empty restaurant, Peter attempts to tell Osborn he isn’t Spider-Man, but he sees through his lie. He reveals that following the rescue of his son Harry, he began to piece together the possible candidates for who Spider-Man was, ultimately coming down to Amadeus, Jeanne, Asha, and Peter himself. He offers his services to aid him, but Peter politely turns him down. Osborn leaves the door open just in case and a check.
